Test and Measuring Equipment, such as Theodolite, which is an optical instrument consisting of a small mounted telescope, rotatable in horizontal and vertical planes, used to measure angles in surveying, meteorology, and navigation. The Theodolite retails for less than $6,000.00. Total Stations, which is an optical instrument used in modern surveying. It is a combination electronic transit (Theodolite) and electronic distance measuring device (EDM). With this device one may determine angles and distances from the instrument to points to be surveyed. With the aid of trigonometry, the angles and distances may be used to calculate the actual positions of surveyed points in absolute terms. A Total Station retail value varies. Depending on rather this item is purchased new or used, it can cost between $10,000.00- $25,000.00.
Pipe, Cable and Pin Locator, such as The Line Tracer, is an instrument used for finding the position and location of pies, cable, water and pins. A Pipe, Cable and Pin Locator retail for less than $5,500.00
